Devotion 1 of 2: Eccl 11
V.1-4 encourage evangelism! As v.1 says, we want to cast both spiritual and natural bread upon many waters (people), through JCC and SI and find good fruit! During our SI Light Meal Fellowship (LMF), we want to serve 7, 8 or even more people and lead them to salvation because evil (tribulation) will come upon the earth (v.2)!
V.3 says that once a tree falls, you cannot change its position. This means when we die, our eternal destination is set. That’s why we should not be affected by circumstances, but be faithful in sowing and sharing the gospel (v.4)!
デボーション1/2：伝道11章
1節から4節は伝道に励むよう勧めている。1節にあるように、私たちはJCCとSIを通じて、多くの水（人々）の上に霊的および物質的なパンを投げ、良い実を見出したいと願っている。そして、2節が言うように、SIの軽食会の時、7人、8人、あるいはそれ以上の人々に仕え、彼らを救いに導きたい。なぜなら、悪（患難）が地上に臨むからである！
3節には、木が倒れると、その位置を変えることはできないと書かれている。これは私たちが死ぬ時、永遠の行き先が定められることを意味している。だから、4節にあるように、状況に左右されず、忠実に種を蒔き、福音を伝えよう（4節）。
Devotion 2 of 2: John 11
This chapter describes the miracle of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Jesus went to Bethany, Lazarus’ hometown, 4 days after Lazarus died (v.17). Jesus met Martha, Lazarus’ sister, and declared a bold statement in v.26, “Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die!” But is it true that if we believe in Jesus, we won’t die?!!
In fact, when a believer dies physically, his spirit and mind don’t die but immediately go to heaven and enter eternal life! He is fully conscience of his surroundings, so he hasn’t died! Let’s share Jesus and help people to gain eternal life!
デボーション2/2：ヨハネ11章
この章には、イエスがラザロを死者の中から復活させる奇跡が記されている。イエスはラザロが死んでから四日後に、ラザロの故郷であるベタニアに行かれた（17節）。着いたら、イエスはラザロの姉であるマルタに出会い、26節で「生きてわたしを信じる者はみな、決して死ぬことがありません」と力強く宣言された。しかし、イエスを信じるなら本当に死なないだろうか。
実際、信じる者が肉体的に死を迎える時も、その霊と心は死ぬことなく、直ちに天国で永遠のいのちに入る。その人は周囲の状況を完全に意識しているので、死んでなどいないのである！人々が永遠のいのちを得られるよう、イエスを伝えて行こう。
