Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 18
V.16 says, “A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.” Jesus made a LD prophecy in Luke 21:12b-13, “You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.” One reason we will testify before rulers will be because AC will persecute us.
Another reason is because the LDC will be John 14:12 believers, doing the works of Jesus! So, we will use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to heal people, and this will open the door to stand before kings! Let’s believe it and do it!

16節は、「人への贈り物（賜物）は、その人のために道を開き、高い位にある人々の前に導く」と言う。イエスもルカ21:12b-13で終わりの日について預言し、「あなたがたは、わたしの名のために、王たちや総督たちの前に引き出される。しかし、それはあなたがたにとって証しをする機会となる」と語った。一つの理由は、反キが私たちを迫害するためである。
もう一つの理由は、終末教会がヨハネ14:12の信仰を持ち、イエスが行ったわざを行うようになるからである。私たちは聖霊の賜物を用いて人々を癒やし、そのことが王たちの前に立つ扉を開くことになる。これを信じ、実行しよう。
Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 5
In v.1-11, Jesus called 4 fishermen to become His disciples to catch men, instead of fish. One effective way that Jesus used and taught His disciples to use to catch men was meeting their needs by healing them of diseases, delivering them from evil spirits, raising their family from the dead, providing them food when they were hungry, etc.
Jesus gave His followers the same power as He had to do the same miracles in order to catch people! In the endtime, in order to bring in the uncountable multitudes to Christ from every nation (Rev 7:9-14), let’s seek the same power!

1-11節で、イエスは4人の漁師を弟子として召し、魚ではなく人を捕る者とした。イエスが人々を獲得するために用い、弟子たちにも用いるように教えた効果的な方法の一つは、人々の必要に応えることであった。病気を癒やし、悪霊から解放し、家族を死からよみがえらせ、空腹のときには食べ物を与えるなどした。
イエスは、ご自分に従う者たちにも、ご自分と同じ奇跡を行う力を与え、人々を獲得できるようにした。終わりの日に、あらゆる国民、部族、民族、言語から数え切れないほどの大群衆をキリストのもとへ導くために（黙7:9-14）、私たちも同じ力を求めよう。
