Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 16
V.4 says, “The Lord has made…the wicked for the day of doom.” This statement has been true throughout history. God used Nebuchadnezzar to destroy Judah (their day of doom) and cleanse the land of the Jew’ wickedness. Then, 70 years later He restored them.
God allowed Hitler’s Holocaust (Jews’ day of doom) so that they would return to their land to fulfill the prophecies of their restoration. In the same way, He will use AC to make the church hot or cold (willing to die for Him or compromise to save their life) (Rev 3:14-22), in order to purify it for revival!

4節には、「【主】は、すべてをご自分の目的のために造り、悪しき者さえも、わざわいの日のために造られた。」とある。この言葉は歴史を通して真実である。神はネブカドネツァルを用いてユダを滅ぼし（彼らの「わざわいの日」）、ユダヤ人の悪を取り除いてその地をきよめた。そして70年後、彼らを回復させた。
神はまた、ヒトラーによるホロコースト（ユダヤ人の「わざわいの日」）を許し、その結果、彼らは自分たちの地へ帰還し、回復についての預言を成就することになった。同じように、神は反キを用いて教会を熱いか冷たいかに分ける。すなわち、キリストのために死ぬか、自分の命を守るために妥協するかを明らかにし（黙3:14–22）、リバイバルのために教会を聖める！
Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 3
This chapter describes the ministry of John the Baptist, who was the Elijah who was to come before Christ (Luke 1:17) and a type of the LDC (Mal 4:5-6; Mark 9:1-8; Rev 11:3-6).
What did John do? ①He prepared the way for the coming of Christ (v.4-6). ②He introduced Jesus as the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit and fire that would gather wheat and burn their chaff (v.16-17). ③He was persecuted, imprisoned and beheaded (v.18-20; Matt 14:1-12). We will also be persecuted and beheaded by AC (Rev 11:7; 13:7: 20:4).

この章は、バプテスマのヨハネの働きを描いている。ヨハネは、キリストの前に来るエリヤであり（ルカ1:17）、また終末教会の型でもある（マラキ4:5-6、マルコ9:1-8、黙11:3-6）。
ヨハネは何をしただろうか。① キリストが来られる道を備えた（4-6節）。② イエスを、聖霊と火によってバプテスマを授ける方として紹介した。その方は麦を集め、もみ殻を焼き尽くすのである（16-17節）。③ 迫害を受け、投獄され、ついには首をはねられた（18-20節、マタイ14:1-12）。私たちも同様、反キによって迫害を受け、首をはねられる（黙11:7、13:7、20:4）。
