Devotion 1 of 2: Num 13
This chapter describes the time Israel was supposed to have entered Canaan. Israel entering the Promised Land symbolizes the church entering the LDR, which God has promised to give us in Rev 7:9-14. It also symbolizes that if we obey Him, the church will actually do all that God has promised to us in the Bible、like John 14:12.
I want to point out that the timing of entering the land was “…the season of the first ripe grapes” (v.20b). This means the Feast of Tabernacles, which celebrated the grape harvest (Deut 16:13). Let’s learn from Israel’s failure!

Devotion 2 of 2: Num 14
This chapter is the story of Israel’s rejection of entering the Promised Land. There were 2 groups within Israel, those who believed God’s promises and those who didn’t. Why didn’t the doubters believe? Because they looked at the giants with terror, believing they were like grasshoppers before them (13:32-33).
Endtime application: This story applies to us today! Many Christians believe the giants (AC) are fearful and only want Jesus to rapture them before he appears! Let’s be like Joshua and Caleb and believe God’s promises!
