Devotion 1 of 2: Num 11
“Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So, the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp” (v.1) Complaining was one of Israel’s biggest weaknesses. It reappeared in ch. 13-14, robbing them of entering the Promised Land!
This chapter is where the church is spiritually today! How we talk everyday will affect whether we become part of the LDR (Promised Land) or not! Let’s speak words of faith and gratitude and stop all complaining AMAP!

Devotion 2 of 2: Num 12
Not only had the people complained in the previous chapter, but in this chapter the leaders also complained! “Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married...” (v.1). This was one reason Israel never overcame their murmuring because “As the leader goes, so goes the people!”
The U.S. government reflects the leader. Recently, the Attorney General and Homeland Security Secretary were fired. Both had lied and were involved in corruption. Others are doing similar things. Let’s pray for the U.S.
