Devotion 1 of 2: Num 9
This chapter speaks about the Passover (v.1-14) and the cloud that led Israel through the wilderness (v.15-23). The cloud is looked at as a symbol of the Holy Spirit (Ex 13:21). So, Israel in the wilderness symbolizes the church that believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which was restored through the Azusa Street Revival in 1906.
The cloud protected Israel from the desert heat during the day and became a pillar of fire at night to protect Israel from the desert cold (v.16). And the cloud led Israel through the wilderness as the Spirit leads believers (v.17-23).

Devotion 2 of 2: Num 10
We see how the two silver trumpets of Israel were used in v.1-10, and Israel’s departure from Mt. Sinai in v.11-36. The trumpet can have many spiritual meanings, like voice of God, prophecy, preaching, warning, etc.
One use of blowing the trumpets was sounding the alarm for war (v.9). I believe the church should be blowing this trumpet now to prepare Christians to face AC. If we don’t warn the people, when AC appears, he will deceive millions of precious believers and cause them to compromise and fall away from the faith! Let’s sound the alarm!
