Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 9
In this chapter we see the 5th, 6th, and 7th plagues fall on Egypt. The plagues were pestilence and death on the livestock (v.6), boils on man and beast (v.10), and hail and fire which killed people and animals left outside and ruined grain and trees (v.23-25).
From the 4th plague on, the Lord protected the Jews, and they were not affected by the plagues (8:22-23)! This is a picture of God protecting the Jews and Christians left on earth during the 2nd half of the tribulation! Let’s pray for them!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 10
This chapter describes the 8th and 9th plagues, which were locusts (v.13) and 3 days of darkness (v.22). In 8th plague, Pharaoh tried to get Moses to compromise and go without their children, wives and livestock (v.8-11), but Moses didn’t bend!
This is a picture of what AC will do. He will get people to tell on their family and friends who don’t take his mark! Sadly, Luke 21:17 warns us that many will betray one another, even their family! But let’s vow to follow our model, Moses, and never compromise!
