Devotion 1 of 2: Job 39
In this chapter God continues to point out His authority and wisdom revealed in His creation. Compared to God, man in the flesh is so inferior that he should never think he knows more than God or he can accuse God of wrongdoing! But this is what Job was doing because he felt although he was blameless, he was being punished.
Job is the oldest book in the Bible and teaches a profound truth that applies to every age. Man goes through hardships, and often he wants to blame God for them, but God is greater than us, so we should never blame Him!

Devotion 2 of 2: Job 40
After God reveals His greatness and wisdom in chapters 38 and 39, He asks Job in 40:2, “Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him? He who rebukes God, let him answer it.”
Job realizes his attitude toward God was ignorant and disrespectful and responds in v.4-5, “Behold, I am vile; What shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth. Once I have spoken, but I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.” Let’s help people hear directly from God! That’s how their problems can be solved!
