Devotion 1 of 2: Amos 2
In God’s prophecy against Israel in v.9, God said He destroyed the Amorites, whose height was like cedars and strength like oaks. They were the giants of Canaan. God said He brought Israel from Egypt through the wilderness so they could possess the land of the Amorites (v.10).
To enable Israel to take the land, God gave them prophets and Nazirites as sons (v.11). Prophets symbolize the anointing for ministry. Nazarites consecrated themselves to God, not drinking wine, or cutting their hair, or touching the dead (Num 6), which symbolized holiness for ministry.
But Israel gave the Nazirites wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy (v.12), destroying the means by which they could conquer the land! That’s why they died in the wilderness! Let’s encourage our young people to seek the anointing of the Spirit and holiness in daily living! That will be needed to become the LDC!

イスラエルに対する神の預言において、9節に神はエモリ人を滅ぼすと言われました。彼らは杉の木のように高く、樫の木のように強かったのです。彼らはカナンの地の巨人でした。神はイスラエルをエジプトから連れ上り、荒野の中で導き、エモリ人の地を所有させたと言われました（10節）。
イスラエルがその地を占領できるように、神は彼らの子らから預言者やナジル人を起こしました（11節）。預言者はミニストリーのための油注ぎを象徴しています。ナジル人は神に身を捧げ、ぶどう酒を飲まず、髪を切らず、死者に触れませんでした（民数記6章）。これはミニストリーのための聖さを象徴していました。
しかし、イスラエルはナジル人にぶどう酒を与え、預言者たちに預言をしないように命じました（12節）。こうして、彼らが地を征服する手段を断ち切りました。だからこそ彼らは荒野で死んだのです。若い人たちが日々の生活の中で聖霊の油注ぎと聖さを求めるよう励ましましょう。終末教会になるためにはそれが必要です！
Devotion 2 of 2: John 16
Jesus said some amazing things in v.12-14, “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth…and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
Jesus couldn’t say many things to the disciples about the endtime because they wouldn’t have understood. But He said that the Holy Spirit will come and guide us into all truth and tell us about future events! This is why receiving the baptism of the Spirit is so important to correctly interpret Scripture, especially about the endtime!
And when the Holy Spirit speaks, He glorifies Jesus! The Spirit wants to show us an amazing, glorious endtime plan of God to restore the church and Israel, cause a world-wide revival, and show Jesus’ glory to the nations!

イエスは12-14節で驚くべきことを言われました。「わたしには、あなたがたに話すことがまだたくさんありますが、今あなたがたはそれに耐える力がありません。しかし、その方、すなわち真理の御霊が来ると、あなたがたをすべての真理に導き入れます。御霊は･･･やがて起ころうとしていることをあなたがたに示すからです。御霊はわたしの栄光を現します･･･」
イエスは弟子たちに終末について多くのことを語ることができませんでした。彼らには理解できなかったからです。しかし、聖霊が来て、私たちをすべての真理に導き、未来の出来事について告げてくださるとイエスは言われました。だからこそ、聖書、特に終末について正しく解釈するためには、聖霊のバプテスマを受けることが非常に重要なのです。
そして、御霊が語るとき、イエスの栄光を現します。聖霊は、神の驚くべき栄光に満ちた終末の計画を私たちに示したいです。つまり、教会とイスラエルが回復され、世界規模のリバイバルが起こされ、諸国民にイエスの栄光が示される計画です。
