Devotion 1 of 2: Amos 3
V.7 says, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” God wants His people to know what He will do in the future, so He speaks through His prophets! So, the future should not be a mystery! If we study the prophets of the Bible (OT), we should know much about the future!
This is what Acts 3:19-21 says, also! God has revealed His plan for when Jesus will return! He wants to restore Israel and the church, which He spoke about many, many times through the prophets! He doesn’t want the endtimes to be an unknown mystery to us! He has told us what He will do through the prophets!
Restoration can be seen through the story of: Job’s loss and restoration; Eden lost, heaven restored thru the cross; Joseph’s dream of ruling, but slavery & imprisonment, finally ruling; Israel’s journey from Canaan to Egypt to wilderness to Canaan; the Ark lost and recovered; Judah, Babylonian Captivity, Return; etc.

7節には、「まことに、神である主は、そのはかりごとを、ご自分のしもべ、預言者たちに示さないでは、何事もなさらない」とあります。神は、自分が将来何をするかを御民に知って欲しいと願っているので、預言者を通して語るのです。ですから、将来は謎であってはなりません。聖書の預言書（旧約）を学ぶなら、私たちは将来について多くのことが分かります。
使3:19-21にも、同じことが書かれています。神は、イエスの再臨の時に関する計画を明らかにしました。イスラエルと教会を回復したいと願って、預言者を通して何度もそのことについて語っています。終末が私たちにとって未知の謎であってはならないのです。神は、預言者を通して、ご自身が何をするかを私たちに告げているのです。
回復の真理は聖書の以下のような物語で見出せます・・・「ヨブの損失と回復」、「エデンを失い、十字架によって天国が回復」、「ヨセフの王になる夢、奴隷と投獄、最後は王座」、「イスラエルのカナンからエジプト、荒野、そしてカナンへの旅」、「契約の箱の喪失と回収」、「ユダ王国、バビロン捕囚、帰還」など。
Devotion 2 of 2: John 17
In v.18, Jesus said, “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.” This is an awesome promise! How was Jesus sent into the world? He was sent as the Son of God in human form to show God’s love for every person, including Samaritans, women caught in adultery, men possessed by demons, lepers, etc.
He also was sent to manifest God’s power to heal all sicknesses to set people free from pain, suffering and hopelessness. Jesus also came to deliver people from evil spirits who tormented and destroyed their lives. Furthermore, Jesus was sent to preach and demonstrate the kingdom of God and save thousands of Jews!
I believe v.18 will be fully fulfilled in the last days through the LDC. By seeking God fervently, we will be transformed into “little Christs,” whom Jesus will send out to do what He did 2000 years ago! By faith, let’s do it!

18節でイエスはこう言われました。「あなたが私を世に遣わされたように、わたしも彼らを世に遣わしました。」これは驚きの約束です。イエスはどのように世に遣わされたのでしょうか？神の御子が人の姿を取って、サマリア人、姦淫の罪に陥った女性、悪霊に取り憑かれた男、らい病人など、すべての人々に神の愛を示すために遣わされたのです。
また、イエスは神の力を現し、あらゆる病を癒し、人々を痛み、苦しみ、絶望から自由にするために遣わされました。イエスはまた、悪霊に苦しめられ、人生をめちゃくちゃにされている人々を解放するためにも遣わされました。さらに、イエスは神の国を宣べ伝えたり、現したりして、何千人ものユダヤ人を救うためにも遣わされました。
18節は、終末教会を通して完全に成就すると信じています。熱心に神を求めることによって、私たちは「小さなキリスト」に変えられ、イエスが2000年前になさったことを行うために私たちを遣わされるのです。信仰によって、そうしましょう！
