Devotion 1 of 2: Hos 14
V.1 says, “Return, Israel, to the Lord your God. Your sins have been your downfall.” This is what God is saying to Israel throughout this book. He loves Israel, and despite their unfaithfulness and spiritual harlotry, as seen in the example of Gomer, He is willing to forgive and accept them if they turn to Him.
What a great love story the book of Hosea is! It’s the message of the gospel, the message of the whole Bible! Let’s share this good news with all those we have a chance to talk with! If the Japanese people really understand how much God loves them, they will open up their hearts and receive Jesus!
デボーション1/2：ホセア14章
1節には、「イスラエルよ。あなたの神、主に立ち返れ。あなたの不義がつまづきのもとであったからだ」とあります。これは、神がこの書簡全体を通してイスラエルに語っておられることです。神はイスラエルを愛しておられ、ゴメルの例に見られるように、彼らの不忠実さと霊的な淫行にもかかわらず、神に立ち返るなら、喜んで彼らを赦し、受け入れてくださいます。
ホセア書はなんと素晴らしい愛の物語でしょう！これは福音のメッセージであり、聖書全体のメッセージです！このグッドニュースを、私たちが話す機会のあるすべての人に伝えましょう！もし日本の人々が、神がどれほど彼らを愛しているかを本当に理解すれば、心を開き、イエスを受け入れるでしょう！
Devotion 2 of 2: John 14
Jesus said in v.12-14, “…whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
Jesus gave 2 promises 2 times each in these 3 verses! 1st, He promised we would do His works, then He repeated it and even added “greater works!” Then He promised He would do whatever we asked in His name, and He repeated that 2x, too! Why did He repeat these promises twice? To let us know those promises were certain!
And the purpose for these promises is so that God would be glorified! These promises will be fulfilled in the LDC because God wants to show mankind His glory, power and love so that an uncountable multitude from every nation will be saved! Let’s believe and pray that we can be used for God’s glory in Japan’s LDR.

イエスは12-14節でこう言われました。「…わたしを信じる者は、わたしのわざを行い、またさらに大きなわざを行います。わたしが父のもとに行くからです。またわたしは、あなたがたがわたしの名によって求めることは何でも、しましょう。父が子によって栄光をお受けになるためです。あなたがたが、わたしの名によって何かを求めるなら、わたしはそれをしましょう。」
イエスはこの3節で、2つの約束をそれぞれ2回ずつ与えられました！まず、私たちが主のわざを行うと約束され、それから、「さらに大きなわざ」を付け加え、繰り返されました。次に、私たちが主の名によって求めることは何でも行うと約束され、それを2回も繰り返されました！なぜ2回も繰り返されたのでしょうか？これらの約束が確実であることを知らせるためです！
そして、これらの約束の目的は、神が栄光を受けられるためです！これらの約束は終末教会によって成就します。なぜなら、神は人類にご自身の栄光、力、そして愛を示し、数え切れないほどの人々が全ての国々から救われることを望んでおられるからです！日本の終末リバイバルにおいて、私たちが神の栄光のために用いられることを信じて祈りましょう！
