Devotion 1 of 2: Dan 3
In Rev 13:7 and 18 we learn that the beast (AC) will kill Christians, and his number is 666. But Rev 13 tells only part of the story. The other part is found in Dan 3. Dan 3 is a prophetic parable of Rev 13. We know this because we find the number 666 there.
King Nebuchadnezzar (KN) builds an image 60 cu. high and 6 cu. wide (v.1) and orders 6 musical instruments to play music as a signal for everyone to worship his image (v.5). What KN did was a prophetic picture of what AC will do in Rev 13:14-15. But the difference is that believers are not killed but are victorious in Dan 3!
In v.11-30, 3 Hebrew men, SMA, refuse to bow, so they are thrown into a fiery furnace! They are types of the LDC! God is showing through them what we should do! When they are thrown into the furnace, Jesus joins them and protects them from any harm! In the end, they are promoted and their God exalted! Yes, God will protect us!

黙13:7、18では、獣（反キ）がクリスチャンを殺し、そして、その数字が666であることが分かります。しかし、黙13章は物語の一部しか語っていません。残りの部分はダニ3章にあります。ダニ3章は黙13章の預言的なたとえ話です。何故それが分かるかというと、666という数字がそこに出てくるからです。
ネブカドネザル王（NO）は、高さ60キュビト、幅6キュビトの像を建て（1節）、6つの楽器に音楽を奏でさせ、皆が彼の像を拝むように合図しました（5節）。NOの行為は、黙13:14-15で反キが行うことを預言的に表していました。しかし、ダニ3章では信者が殺されるのではなく、勝利する点が異なります。
11-30節では、3人のヘブライ人、SMAがひれ伏すことを拒んだため、火の燃える炉に投げ込まれます。彼らは終末教会の型です。神は彼らを通して、私たちが何をすべきかを示しておられます！彼らが炉に投げ込まれる時、イエス様は共に歩み、あらゆる災難から守ってくださいます！最終的に彼らは栄え、彼らの神は高められます！終末にも、同じ結果になる！
Devotion 2 of 2: Dan 4
In this chapter KN sees a dream (v.10-17), and Daniel interprets it (v.19-27). It was a warning of how, if KN didn’t humble himself, he would become a beast for 7 years. KN didn’t humble himself, so the dream came true. He became like a beast for 7 years after which he was restored and finally honored and praised God (v.34-37).
Endtime application: This story is a warning to AC and his followers, if he doesn’t humble his heart and acknowledge God, he will be turned into a beast. But AC will not listen, so he will become the beast of Rev 13, ruling the world recklessly like an autocrat and killing anyone who doesn’t obey him!
After 7 years of the tribulation, AC will be judged in the lake of fire and will finally acknowledge God, but it will be too late for him (Rev 19:19-21! Let’s not be deceived by the AC, because we know his end!

この章で、ネブカデネザル王（NO）は夢を見ます（10-17節）。そしてダニエルはそれを解き明かします（19-27節）。それは、NOが謙虚にならなければ7年間獣のようになるという警告でした。王は謙虚にならなかったため、夢は現実となったのです。彼は7年間獣のようになっていましたが、その後回復し、ついに神を敬い、賛美しました（34-37節）。
終末への適用： この物語は、反キとその追随者たちへの警告です。もし彼が謙遜にならなくて、傲慢に神に反抗すれば、獣に変えられてしまうのです。しかし、反キは耳を傾けず、黙13章の獣となり、独裁者のように無謀に世界を支配し、自分に従わない者を皆殺しにするでしょう！
7年間の患難の後、反キは火の池で裁かれ、ついに神を認めますが、それは彼にとっては遅すぎるのです（黙19:19-21）。反キの結末を知っているので、騙されて、彼に妥協してはいけません。
