Devotion 1 of 2: Song 8
The Shulamite uses her garden and vineyard as symbols of her body and her lovemaking with her Beloved (v.2, 5, 12). Her brothers think of her as a little sister with under-developed breasts who still needs their protection (v.8-9), but she is a grown woman with mature breasts (v.10)!
V.11 says Solomon had a vineyard (harem?), which he leased to his men for 1000 silver coins. Did Solomon allow his men to have access to his wives? He certainly couldn’t satisfy them except once every 3 years at the most, and having dissatisfied women would’ve been unbearable! So, maybe he allowed his men access for silver?
Solomon probably pursued the Shulamite, but she kept her own vineyard (body) apart from his 1000 wives (v.12). Solomon was old when he had 1000 wives, but her Beloved was a young stag (v.14)!

シュラムの女は、自分の庭とぶどう園を、自分の体と愛する者との親しい関係の象徴としています（2、5、12節）。兄たちは彼女を、まだ胸が自熟で、まだ守ってもらう必要がある妹のように思っています（8-9節）。しかし、彼女は成熟した胸を持つ大人の女性なのです（10節）。
11節には、ソロモンにぶどう園（ハーレム？）があり、それを部下に銀1000枚で任せていたと記されています。ソロモンは部下に妻たちと会うことを許していたのでしょうか？ソロモンは、せいぜい3年に一度しか妻たちを満足させることはできなかったでしょうし、不満を抱えた女性たちと過ごすのは耐え難いことだったでしょう！もしかしたら銀貨と引き換えに部下たちが会うことを許していたのかもしれません。
ソロモンはシュラムの女を追いかけたのでしょうが、彼女は自分のぶどう園（肉体）を王の1000人の妻たち(銀)とは別にしていたのです（12節）。ソロモンは1000人の妻を持ったときすでに年老いていましたが、彼女の最愛の人は若い雄鹿でした（14節）。

Devotion 2 of 2: James 1
V.6 says, “Let him ask in faith, with no doubting…” This is the kind of faith we need in seeking for the LDR!
V.22 says, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” We should dare to do what the Word says or promises, like John 14:12! Let’s just not hear, but do the works that Jesus promised we could do!

6節には、「少しも疑わずに、信じて願いなさい」とあります。これは、私たちが終末リバイバルを求める際に必要な信仰です！
22節には、「みことばを実行する人になりなさい。自分を欺いて、ただ聞くだけの者であってはいけません」とあります。ヨハネ14:12にあるように、私たちは御言葉が語っていること、約束していることを、勇気を持って行うべきです！ただ聞くだけでなく、イエスが私たちに約束してくださった業を行いましょう！
