Devotion 1 of 2: Eccl 5
One very common evil in society is the rich and powerful exploiting the poor and weak. This was actually the root cause of the French Revolution, when the peasants revolted against the ruling class, killing King Louis XVI and many nobles. Sadly, this same situation exists today as the wealthiest 1% own 45% of global wealth!
V.8 says, “If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them.” This verse is saying oppression happens because that’s how the governing system is set up!
When Jesus returns, He will set up the Millennial Kingdom on earth and demonstrate how harmonious and happy the world can be if it obeys God’s laws! Let’s pray for Christ’s return!

社会に蔓延する悪の一つは、富裕層や権力者が貧困層や弱者を搾取することです。これはフランス革命の根本原因でもあり、農民が支配階級に反乱を起こし、ルイ16世と多くの貴族を殺害しました。悲しいことに、今日でも同じ状況が続いており、富裕層のトップの1％が世界の富の45％を所有しているのです。
8節には、「ある州で、貧しい者がしいたげられ、権利と正義がかすめられるのを見ても、そのことに驚いてはならない。その上役には、それを見張るもうひとりの上役がおり、彼らよりももっと高い者たちもいる。」とあります。この節は、抑圧が起こるのは、統治システムがそのように構築されているからだと言っているのです。
イエスが再臨される時、地上に千年王国を築き、神の律法に従うならば世界がどれほど調和と幸福に満ちるかを示してくださいます。キリストの再臨のために祈りましょう！
Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Cor 5
V.10 says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ…” This is where Christians will be judged for their deeds. The Great White Throne Judgment is where unbelievers will be judged (Rev 20:11-15).
V.17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” This promise was given to us at salvation. But its fulfillment is progressive. Our spirits have become new; our souls are being made new; our bodies will be made new at Christ’s 2nd coming.
V.18 says, “…God…has given us the ministry of reconciliation.” V.20 says, “…we are ambassadors for Christ…” This is the ultimate calling for every Christian! We will be transformed during the LDR so we can do it!

10節には、「・・・私たちはみな、キリストのさばきの座に現れて・・・」とあります。これは、クリスチャンがそれぞれの行いに応じて裁かれる場所です。大きな白い御座での裁きは、未信者が裁かれる場所です（黙20:11-15）。
17節には、「だれでもキリストのうちにあるなら、その人は新しく造られた者です。古いものは過ぎ去って、見よ、すべてが新しくなりました」とあります。この約束は、私たちが救われた時に与えられました。しかし、その成就は漸進的です。私たちの霊は新しくなりましたが、魂（思い）は新しくされつつあり、体はキリストの再臨の時に新しくされるのです。
18節には、「･･･神は…和解の務めを私たちに与えてくださいました」とあります。20節には、「･･･私たちはキリストの使者なのです…」とあります。これはすべてのクリスチャンにとって究極の召命です！私たちは終末リバイバルを通して変革され、それを成し遂げることができるのです！
