Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 5
This chapter talks about the immoral woman. This applies first to our daily life, where we may encounter temptations to seek fleshly pleasures from immoral women or men (more often men!). We should resist these temptations at all cost!
Endtime application: The immoral woman can speak of Babylon, the harlot in the book of Revelation (Rev 17:1). She represents this wicked world which made the inhabitants of earth drunk with the wine of her fornication (Rev 17:2). Rev 18:4 says, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins and receive of her plagues.” Let us not be drawn into her web of sins lest we be destroyed together with her (Rev 18:9-24).

この章は不道徳な女について述べています。これはまず私たちの日常生活に当てはまります。私たちは不道徳な女性や男性（多くの場合、男性です！）から肉欲的な快楽を求める誘惑に遭遇するかもしれません。私たちはこれらの誘惑にどんな犠牲を払ってでも抵抗すべきです！
終末への適用：他国の女（英訳＝不道徳な女）は、黙示録に登場する大淫婦バビロン（黙17:1）に適応できるでしょう。彼女は、地上の住民を彼女の淫行のぶどう酒で酔わせたこの邪悪な世を象徴しています（黙17:2）。黙18:4には、「わが民よ。この女から離れなさい。その罪にあずからないため、また、その災害を受けないためです。」とあります。私たちも彼女の罪の網に引き込まれてはなりません。そうしなければ、彼女と共に滅びてしまうからです（黙18:9-24）。
Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 5
This chapter describes Jesus calling His first disciples. Let’s look at this scene as a picture of Jesus and the church of Japan. The disciples had fished all night but caught nothing (v.5). But when they obeyed Jesus to launch out and let down their nets, they caught many fish (v.6). They had to call their friends to help them fill both boats to bring the fish to shore (v.7)! From that day, the disciples became fishers of men (v.9-11).
Endtime application: Like the disciples, the church in Japan has caught very few fish. But if we listen to Jesus’ words and obey, we will be transformed into churches which lead many people to salvation! There’ll be so many new converts that we will need to unite and cooperate with other churches to preserve the catch! This will happen in the Last Day Revival, when the church is transformed into the Last Day Glorious Revival Church!

この章は、イエスが最初の弟子たちを召された場面を描いています。この場面を、イエスと日本の教会の姿として見てみましょう。弟子たちは一晩中漁をしましたが、何も取れませんでした（5節）。しかし、イエスの御言葉に従って舟を漕ぎ出し、網を下ろすと、たくさんの魚が取れました（6節）。魚を岸に引き上げるために、友人たちを呼んで両方の舟に魚をいっぱいに詰め込まなければなりませんでした（7節）。その日から、弟子たちは人間をとる漁師となりました（9-11節）。
終末への適用：弟子たちのように、日本の教会はまだほとんど魚を捕っていません。しかし、私たちがイエスの御言葉に耳を傾け、従うなら、私たちは多くの人々を救いに導く教会へと変えられていくでしょう。多くの回心者が生まれるので、その漁獲を守るために他の教会と一致し、協力していく必要があるでしょう。これは、終りの日のリバイバルにおいて、教会が終末栄光リバイバル教会へと変えられる時に起こるのです。
