Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 25
This chapter contains God’s judgment against 4 heathen nations around Judah: Ammon (v.1-7), Moab (v.8-11), Edom (v.12-14), and Philistia (v.15-17).
God says He would destroy and cause Ammon to perish from the countries (v.7). Against Moab, He declares He would execute judgments upon them (v.11). Against Edom, the Lord said He would take vengeance upon them by the hand of Israel (v.14). And against Philistia, God said He would execute great vengeance against them (v.17).
These Scriptures should remind us of how God has declared He would reveal His wrath against humanity’s sins during the great tribulation period through calamities such as the sun getting hot and scorching mankind (Rev 16:8-9). Let’s pray that our friends will believe and follow Christ so they will not have to suffer during the tribulation!

この章には、ユダ周辺の4つの異教国家、すなわちアンモン（1-7節）、モアブ（8-11節）、エドム（12-14節）、ペリシテ（15-17節）に対する神の裁きが記されています。
神はアンモンを諸国から断ち滅ぼすと宣言されています（7節）。モアブに対しては、裁きを下すと宣言されています（11節）。エドムに対しては、イスラエルの手によって復讐すると宣言されています（14節）。そしてペリシテに対しては、ひどい復讐を下すと宣言されています（17節）。
これらの聖句は、神が大患難時代に、太陽が熱くなり人類を焼き尽くすなどの災いを通して、人類の罪に対する怒りを現すと宣言されたことを私たちに思い起こさせるものです（黙16:8-9）。私たちの家族や友人たちがキリストを信じて従い、患難の時に苦しまなくて済むように祈りましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 25
This chapter contains 3 famous stories of the endtime: 1) The wise and foolish virgins, 2) The 3 servants and how they used their master’s talents, and 3) How Jesus will judge the sheep and goat people. Let’s look at the 1st parable to learn some important lessons.
Both the wise and foolish virgins symbolize Christians because they were all virgins (had Christ’s righteousness), were waiting for the bridegroom (waiting for Christ’s 2nd coming) and had lamps (Word of God). But the foolish virgins didn’t have oil (the baptism of the Holy Spirit)!
As a result, they went to buy oil and didn’t return in time to enter the wedding (v.11-12). I believe this shows there will be Christians who can go to heaven but cannot attend the wedding and won’t be part of Christ’s bride!

この章には、終末に関する3つの有名な物語が含まれています。1) 賢い娘と愚かな娘、2) 3人のしもべと彼らが主人のタラントをどのように使ったか、3) イエスが羊と山羊の民をどのように裁くかです。最初のたとえ話から重要な教訓を学びましょう。
賢い娘も愚かな娘も、クリスチャンを象徴しています。なぜなら、彼女たちは皆処女（キリストの義を持っていた）、花婿を待っていた（キリストの再臨を待っていた）、そしてともしび（神の言葉）を持っていたからです。しかし、愚かな娘たちは油（聖霊のバプテスマ）を持っていませんでした！
その結果、彼女たちは油を買いに行き、婚礼の祝宴に間に合うように戻れませんでした（11-12節）。これは、天国に行けるものの、結婚式に出席できず、つまり、キリストの花嫁の一部になれないクリスチャンがいることを示していると思います。
