Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 14
This chapter reveals that God’s judgment of destruction (v.21) will come upon sinful Israel because of their idolatry (v.3). In the endtime, this refers to the danger of many Christians compromising and worshiping AC’s image.
In v.14, God says even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in Judah, they would only save themselves by their righteousness. They wouldn’t save the idolatrous Jews. These 3 men refer to the LDC, who would be in the world with the compromising church. But that church can only be saved by repenting and following Jesus themselves.
These 3 men symbolize the LDC because Noah built the ark and saved the animals, which was a type of the LDC saving the world. Daniel & his 3 friends not worshiping Nebuchadnezzar’s image symbolized the LDC not worshiping AC’s image. And Job symbolizes the church being restored and receiving the double portion blessing.

この章は、罪深いイスラエルの偶像崇拝（3節）のために滅びの裁き（21節）を受けると現わしています。これは終末において、多くのクリスチャンが妥協し、反キの像を拝む危険性があることを指します。
14節で神は、たとえノア、ダニエル、ヨブがユダにいたとしても、3人はその義によって自分たちのみを救うのであって、偶像崇拝のユダヤ人を救うことはできない、と言っています。この3人は、妥協する教会と共にこの世に生きる終末リバイバル教会を指しています。妥協の教会は、自ら悔い改めてイエスに従うことによってのみ救われるのです。
この3人は終末教会を象徴します。なぜなら、ノアは箱舟を造り、動物を救ったからです。これは終末教会が大勢の人を救うことの典型です。ダニエルと3人の友人がネブカデネザルの像を拝まなかったことは、終末教会が反キの像を拝まないことを象徴しています。そしてヨブは、教会が回復され、二倍の祝福を受けることを象徴しています。
Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 14
I want to look at 3 endtime lessons in this chapter. The 1st is about John the Baptist, who was Elijah, who prepared the way for Jesus’ 1st coming. He was a picture of the LDC, which will be the 2nd Elijah, preparing the way for Jesus’ 2nd coming. John was killed by beheading (v.10), which will probably happen to many LDC believers (Rev 20:4).
When the hour got late, Jesus told His disciples to give the multitude food in v.16. They didn’t know how, so Jesus showed them how by taking the little they had and believing God to multiply it. The result: everyone ate and they had leftovers! In the endtime, we can’t buy food, so let’s learn from this story how to feed our people.
In v.36, it says as many as touched the hem of Jesus’ garment were healed! This is John 14:12 in action! Let’s believe Jesus will keep His promise, and every one of us will be doing Jesus’ works of healing all who are sick!

この章では、終末に関する3つの教訓を学びたいと思います。1つ目は、イエスの初臨の道を備えたバプテスマのヨハネ、すなわちエリヤについてです。彼は、イエスの再臨の道を備える第二のエリヤとなる終末教会の象徴でした。ヨハネは斬首されて殺されました（10節）。これは、終末教会の多くの信者にも起こることでしょう（黙20:4）。
夕方の時、イエスは16節で弟子たちに群衆に食べ物を上げるように言われました。弟子たちはどうすればよいか分かりませんでしたが、イエスはわずかな持ち物を取り、神がそれを増やしてくださると信じることによって、その方法を示しました。その結果、皆が食べ、余りが出ました！終末には食べ物を買えないので、この物語から人々を養う方法を学びましょう。
36節には、イエスの着物のふさに触れた者は皆癒されたとあります。これはヨハネ14:12を実践していると言えるでしょう。イエスが約束を守ってくださって、私たちが全ての病んでいる人を癒すというイエスの御業を行うことを信じましょう。
