Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Kings 17
The great prophet Elijah (about 900-850 BC) appears in northern Israel. He is important to us because Mal 4:5-6 prophesy that he will come before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. This prophecy will be fulfilled 2x: before Christ’s 1st coming by John the Baptist, and before Christ’s 2nd coming by the LDC.
Endtime application: Elijah could stop rain (v.1). According to Rev 11:6, the 2 witnesses (Elijah and Moses = LDC) will have the same authority! “These 2 witnesses will have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls…”
Elijah was fed by ravens (v.2-6) and was fed supernaturally by a widow for many days (v.11-16). Believers who don’t take AC’s mark won’t be able to buy food, so God will feed supernaturally (Rev 13:16-17).
Let’s study Elijah to learn about our calling as the endtime Elijah Church so we can fulfill our mission!

偉大な預言者エリヤ（紀元前900-850年頃）は、北イスラエルに現れます。マラ4:5-6は、主の大いなる恐ろしい日が来る前にエリヤが遣わされると預言しているため、エリヤは私たちにとって重要な存在です。この預言は二度成就します。キリストの初臨の前にバプテスマのヨハネによって成就し、キリストの再臨の前に終末教会によって成就します。
終末への適用：エリヤは雨を止めることができました（1節）。黙11章の二人の証人（エリヤとモーセ＝終末教会）は同じ権威を持ちます！「雨が降らないように天を閉じる力を持っており･･･」（黙11:6）。
エリヤはカラスによって食べ物を与えられ（2-6節）、また、ある未亡人から何日もの間、超自然的な方法で養われました（11-16節）。 反キの刻印を受けない信者は食べ物を買うことができませんが、神は超自然的に食べ物を備えてくださるでしょう（黙13:16-17）。
私たちの使命を果たせるよう、終末のエリヤ教会として委ねられた召命について学んでいきましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Kings 18
This chapter describes the dramatic story of Elijah’s Mt. Carmel victory against the prophets of Baal in v.20-40. Elijah gathered the people to Mt. Carmel and challenged them to see which God, Yahweh or Baal, was the true God, who would answer by fire (v.20-21, 24).
The 450 prophets of Baal cried out from morning to the evening sacrifice, but there was no answer (v.22-29)! But in the endtime, the false prophet will call fire from heaven and deceive many to believe he is Elijah, the AC is the real Christ, and they should worship his image (Rev 13:12-14)!
So the LDC will need a double portion anointing of the spirit and power of Elijah to overcome the false Elijah and false Christ of the endtime! Let’s rise up to this challenge and overcome worship of AC’s image as Elijah overcame worship of Baal in this chapter!

この章は、20-40節でエリヤがカルメル山でバアルの預言者たちを打ち破った劇的な物語を描いています。エリヤはイスラエルの民をカルメル山に集め、ヤハウェとバアルのどちらが真の神であり、どちらが火をもって答えるかを問うように挑みました（20-21, 24節）。
450人のバアルの預言者たちは朝から午後３時まで、叫び続けましたが、何の答えもありませんでした（22-29節）。しかし、終末の時には、偽預言者は天から火を降らせ、多くの人を欺いて自分がエリヤであり、反キこそ真のキリストであり、その像を拝むべきだと信じ込ませます（黙13:12-14）。
ですから、終末教会は偽エリヤと偽キリストを打ち負かすために、エリヤの霊と力の二倍の油注ぎを必要とするのです。この章でエリヤがバアル崇拝を克服したように、私たちもこの挑戦に立ち向かい、反キの像の崇拝を克服しましょう。
