Devotion 1 of 2: Josh 24
Before Joshua died in v.29, he led Israel in renewing their covenant to God in v.25. This was based on the Palestinian Covenant, or Promised Land Covenant, made under Moses in Deut 30:1-10. Its essence was that if Israel obeyed the Lord, he would give them the land; but if they disobeyed, he would scatter them to other nations.
This covenant applies to the LDC also. If we believe and obey God and his promises, he will give us revival in all the nations of the world, but if we disobey, we won’t have revival! Let’s believe and obey God!

Devotion 2 of 2: Josh 23
Joshua gives his last speech to Israel in this chapter. Here are 2 of the points that he spoke about and how they apply to the LDC:
1) The Lord gave Israel the land as he promised (v.5, 14). God will fulfill his promise of endtime revival in all nations in Rev 7.
2) If Israel compromised in idolatry, etc., they would be defeated and driven out of the PL (v.12-13, 16). If the church compromises and bows down to AC’s image, it will not have revival.
Let’s never bow down to AC’s image or take his mark, even if threatened by death! Let’s remember! As God rescued Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego miraculously when they were thrown into the furnace for not worshiping Nebuchadnezzar’s statue (Dan 3), so he will rescue the LDC from AC’s persecutions when we don’t worship his image! Amen!
