NUM 33: Answers!
1) The 1st plague turned the waters of the Nile River into blood (Ex 7:19-21). The Nile River was extremely important to Egypt, and they worshipped it as a god.
2) The 9th plague shut the light of the sun for 3 days (Ex 10:21-23). Most cultures worship the sun as a god, and Egypt did so also. They called him “Rah.”

This chapter covers the boundaries of the Promised Land that God wanted Israel to take. Because I wasn’t familiar with most of the names of the places in this chapter, I looked for a map of Israel according to Num 34 on the internet and found a few. They gave me a good idea of what this chapter is talking about. I recommend to anyone who is confused by this chapter to do the same.
