Devotion 1 of 2: Hos 11
*v.6b-7 “Because of their own counsels. My people are bent on backsliding from me.” Many believers will leave the faith because of Pretrib teachings that told them they would be raptured before AC appears, so they didn’t need to worry about him.

Devotion 2 of 2: John 11
1) Jesus was talking about the soul and spirit of believers which do not die but continue to live, going directly to heaven at the time of death (2 Cor 5:8; Phili 1:21-23). It is only the body that dies and will be resurrected in the rapture (1 Thes 4:16-17).
2) A) Many people believed in Jesus (v.45)!
B) The priests plotted to kill Jesus (v.53).
