Devotion 1 of 2: Hos 12
Amidst many words of judgment against Israel and Judah, I found some prophetic words of encouragement in v.10 “I have also spoken by the prophets, and have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets.” The prophets of the OT have given us God’s plan for the LDR in multiplied visions and pictures (Acts 3:19-21). Let’s study and believe them and pray for their fulfillment!

Devotion 2 of 2: John 12
1) The people were recognizing Jesus as the King of Israel and therefore, as the Messiah in fulfillment of Ps 118:26 (19-29). They also recognized Jesus fulfilled another Messianic prophecy in Zech 9:9 by riding on a donkey.
2) We can produce much grain! One kernel can produce one stalk of wheat. An average stalk produces 5 heads of grain. Each head produces an average of 22 kernels, so, 1 kernel can produce on average, 5 x 22 = 110 kernels! Jesus said a seed of wheat can produce 30-, 60- or 100-fold! Amen!
