Devotion 2 of 2: Dan 8
Gabriel explains to Daniel that the ram in his vision is the kings of Media and Persia and the goat that destroyed the ram (v.7) is the king of Greece (v.19-20). From the goat, a horn arose which became very powerful (v.9-12). It seems like this great horn represents antichrist in the last days. Some things about him that should be remembered are: He will kill Christians (v.12, 24); through him deceit will reign and truth will be cast down (v.12, 25); and in the end he will be destroyed by Jesus (v.25).
