Devotion 1 of 2: Luke 19
1) The time that God visited the Jews through Jesus, their Messiah, but they ended up crucifying him.
2) It was fulfilled in 70AD when Rome surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed it.
3) Luke 21:20-24 speak of a future fulfillment of the Jerusalem prophecy. It will take place in the endtime during the Battle of Armageddon, when AC and his army will attack Israel, destroy Jerusalem and kill 2/3 of the Jews (Zech 13:8). But Jesus will return, rescue Israel, defeat AC and bring this world age to a close (Zech 14:3, 12-15; Rev 19:1-21).

Devotion 2 of 2: Prov 19
V.5 says, “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.” V.9 is almost the same with the last 2 words being “will perish.” These verses are being enacted right now in the US as the former leader of the country has been accused of telling many lies about: 1) Having an affair and paying hush money to cover it up, 2) About having the authority to keep classified documents and then hiding them at his home, 3) About trying to change the 2020 Georgia election results from him losing to winning, and 4) Repeatedly lying that the 2020 election was stolen from him, which caused a mob to attack the Capital to try to stop the transfer of power to the newly elected leader. Many trials will be needed to decide whether the former leader is guilty of crimes or not, and if found guilty, what kind of punishment he will receive. Let’s pray that justice will prevail, and violent uprisings will not happen. Let’s pray that Christians will not be deceived and continue following this leader, but will have Spirit-led discernment
