Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Chron 20
Raising up giant killers! This chapter lists 3 other giants that needed to be killed: Sippai (v.4), Lahmi (v.5), and the 6-fingered and 6-toed giant (v.6). They were killed, not by David, but by Sibbechai, Elhanan and Jonathan! So David not only killed giants, but he inspired and raised up others to do so, too! Let’s not only defeat Satan and AC but inspire others to do the same!

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Chron 21
1) God was displeased so he struck Israel (v.7). He gave David a choice out of 3 punishments, and David chose the 3rd, which was 3 days of pestilence (v.12). As a result, 70,000 Isaelis died.
2) We need accurate discernment concerning advice! Contrast chapters 19 and 21. In 19, the king accepted bad advice, which led to a war, and he lost the war! In 21, David rejected good advice, and this led to 70,000 of his people dying! Let’s pray for accurate discernment!
