Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Chron 9
Most of the returning exiles were priests from the tribe of Levi. What was interesting was the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh were mentioned in v.3. They were northern tribes and shouldn’t have been exiled to Babylon, so this shows that some people lived in different places than their tribes. I think this is especially true of Jerusalem, since it was the capital of Judah.

Devotion 2 of 2: Titus 3
V.2 says, “…speak evil of no one, avoid quarreling, be gentle, and show perfect courtesy toward all people.” Wow! If we can put this into practice, we will have a great testimony in Japan! Let’s seek God to help us live like this! He will answer our prayers!
