Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 2
I will post my devotions and comments of your devotions later on. First, I want to post Wed, 5/3's devotional assignment.
Ezek 2: This chapter shows God’s calling upon Ezekiel. Let’s seek God and share what he shows us.
Finally, here's my Wed, 5/3, devotions!
Ezek 2 sharing: We can learn from the calling Ezekiel received from God because we, too, have received a similar calling. God told Ezekiel to speak his words to Israel, whether they hear or not, for they were rebellious, and to not be afraid of them (v.6-7). We will face the same resistance from Christians to God’s word in the last days so let’s learn from this book not to give up but to not be afraid to speak the truth!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 2
1) Likely 2 years because Herod asked the wise men when the star appeared (v.7). Then he killed all male babies up to 2 years old based on what they had told him about the time (v.16).
2) The wise men’s gifts were used to support Jesus’ family for the few years they lived in Egypt.
