Devotion 1 of 2: Mark 6
1) Because of the people’s unbelief (v.6).
2) By beheading (v.27). Many LDC believers will also be beheaded for not worshiping the image of the beast or for not receiving his mark (Rev 20:4).
3) Jesus can take the little that we have and use it to meet the needs of many people!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 125
This is another Song of Ascent. There are 15 Songs of Ascent from Psalms 120 to 134. They were sung by pilgrims as they climbed the road up to Jerusalem 3 times a year for the Feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. I believe the songs we sing in church can be looked at as our Songs of Ascent as we climb spiritual Mt. Zion and rebuild DT!
