Devotion 1 of 3: Luke 2

Jesus came for all mankind! We see this through the first two groups of people who were told about the birth of the Savior, and who went to Bethlehem to worship the Christ-child! The first group was the shepherds of Bethlehem! Shepherds belonged to the labor group, who were uneducated, part of the lower class, and were poor! The other group was the wise men from the East (Matt 1:! In contrast, they were highly educated, of the higher class, and were wealthy! The take on all of this is that Jesus came to this world to save all of mankind, rich and poor, educated and uneducated, etc.! Thank you, Lord, for loving all of humanity!

Devotion 2 of 3: Ps 118

V. 8-14 can be applied to the LDC when antichrist persecutes it during Trib1 (1st half of the tribulation). Although antichrist will surround the LDC to harm it, we will cut them down instead through escaping from prison or speaking words of judgment!

Devotion 3 of 3: Rev 16

When we read the horrible catastrophes that will happen through the 7 bowl judgments in this chapter that will take place in Trib2 (2nd half of the tribulation), we may wonder, “Why is God being so cruel?” But v.5-6 say, “You are just in these judgments, O Holy One…for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets…” Our God is never cruel, without love! Rather, he is meting out necessary punishment to mankind for its horrendous sins of killing Christians, killing babies, committing sexual immoralities, destroying the planet, trying to destroy Israel, etc. So let us work hard to save as many people from the awful events of Trib2 as possible!
