Devotion 1 of 2: Luke 1
V.35 says Jesus will be called the Son of God. But critics say Jesus considered all mankind to be sons of God in John 10:34, so Jesus was not a special, supernatural Son of God, but the same as all humans! However, Luke 1:29-38 show the difference between Jesus and us. In v.34, Mary says she was a virgin when she conceived Jesus. Our mothers were not virgins, but had a physical relationship with our fathers to conceive us. So Jesus had no earthly father; his father was God in heaven, but we had an earthly father. So there is a big difference between Jesus and us. Let’s recognize this and give Jesus the honor he deserves for being a special, supernatural Son of the Almighty God in heaven!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 15
So far in Rev, we’ve seen the 7 seals (6:1-17; 8:1) and 7 trumpets (8:6-13; 9:1-21; 10:1-7). In this chapter, we see there were also 7 plagues (15:1, 6-8), but not much is written about them, so I think they may be the same as the final 7, which are the 7 bowls of God’s wrath (16:1-21), which bring horrible judgments against evil, rebellious mankind before the end of this world age.
