Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 119
This is the longest chapter in the Bible with 176 verses! Almost every verse refers to God’s Word, which is the central theme of this psalm. God’s Word is referred to by using many terms; some of them are: law, statutes, ways, precepts, decrees, commands, word, precepts, etc. So this longest chapter in the Bible is showing us how important God’s Word should be in our life!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 17
The central figure in this chapter is Babylon, the great prostitute, who rides on a scarlet beast (v.3, 5). What does she represent? I think she is the False Prophet, a religious system that cooperates with the antichrist to persecute Christians and then Jews. She is pictured as a prostitute because worship of any god beside Yahweh is committing spiritual adultery. Because she is drunk with the blood of believers (v.6) and because she will attack Israel with the antichrist, I think the most likely candidate for the False Prophet is Islam, which claims that Mohammed is the greatest prophet of all! In the end, however, antichrist will turn against Babylon and destroy her (v.16-17)! Let us beware of Islam, study its history and watch its movements on the world stage today.
