I think Jesus used a different method each time he healed to help us not to follow a set pattern, but rather, the Holy Spirit’s leading to do healing! Here are 3 examples of different ways Jesus healed the sick! ① Luke 4:38 Jesus rebuked the fever, and it left Peter’s mother-in-law! ② Luke 5:13 When asked if he was willing to heal a man covered with leprosy, Jesus answered, “I am willing,” reached out his hand to touch the man, declared, “Be clean,” and immediately the leprosy left! ③ Luke 5:17-26 When a paralyzed man was lowered by tearing a hole in the roof of a crowded house Jesus was preaching at, Jesus saw the faith of the friends, and said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Then he commanded the man to get up, take his mat and go home.” Immediately the man stood up and was healed!
