Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 20

I believe Isaiah was stripped of his sackcloth only and kept his loincloth, which also happened to Jesus on the cross, I believe.

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 20

The owner of the vineyard represents God and the farmers or tenants represent the Jews (v.9). The servants the owner sends are prophets God sent to Israel who were rejected and beaten by the Jews (v.10-12). The owner’s son is Jesus, who is killed by the Jews (v.15), which causes the owner to kill the tenants and give the vineyard to others (v.16). This symbolizes God cutting off the Jews from the covenant of salvation and giving the covenant to the Gentiles.
