Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 19
One reason that it can be said that Mt. Sinai was Israel’s Feast of Pentecost experience is because God came down on Mt. Sinai to meet with Israel 50 days after their deliverance from Egypt, just as the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples 50 days after the Resurrection. Israel left Egypt on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Ex 12:17), which was 1/15, the day after Passover. There are 30 days in all Jewish months. So that meant they traveled for 16 days in the 1st month (if you count 1/15 as day 1) and 30 days in the 2nd month.

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 20
The 10 Commandments can be divided into 2 parts. The 1st 4 commandments are about our relationship to God and the last 6 commandments are about our relationship to our fellow man. And this is what the 2 great commandments that Jesus taught are about: Loving God and loving man! So by fulfilling the 2 great commandments, we fulfill all 10 Commandments!
