Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 17
In the battle of Israel and the Amalekites, Joshua was fighting on the battlefield, but it was Moses interceding by lifting his hands that caused Israel to advance (v.11). When he got tired and his hands dropped, Israel retreated. So Aaron and Hur supported Moses by lifting his hands (v.12), and Israel won the battle (v.13). So our prayers determine whether we win or lose against our enemy, Satan, and supporting one another is essential as no one can win only by himself!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 18
I think Jethro’s advice to Moses was good, and I agree with it because it shows the need of organization, teamwork and raising up leaders for a group to function properly.
