Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 81
This psalm commanded praise to God, who delivered Israel out of Egypt (v.1-7, 10). It also warned Israel not to worship any foreign god (v.8-10), but they would not obey, so God gave them over to their own desires (v.11-12). If Israel had listened, they could have had victory over enemies and prosperous abundance (v.13-16).
The lessons in this psalm apply not only to Israel but to the church, too! Sadly, a church that disobeys is described. They are the many who will fall away after AC is revealed. Let’s determine never to bow to AC!

この詩篇は、イスラエルをエジプトから救い出した神への賛美を命じている（1–7, 10節）。また、いかなる異国の神も拝んではならないとイスラエルに警告しているが（8–10節）、彼らは聞き従おうとしなかったため、神は彼らをかたくなな心のままに任せられた（11–12節）。もしイスラエルが聞き従っていたなら、敵に対する勝利と豊かな恵みを得ることができたはずである（13–16節）。
この詩篇の教訓は、イスラエルだけでなく教会にも適用される。悲しいことに、不従順な教会の姿がここに描かれている。彼らは反キが現れる時に脱落していく多くの者たちである。私たちは決して反キにひれ伏さないと決意しよう。
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Tim 5
This chapter encourages the church to be a loving church family (v.1-2). It also gives advice on how to discern believers who may cause problems and those who should not receive help from the church but rather from their own families (v.6-16). Wisdom is needed in this area because we are called to help the poor (Prov 19:17).
When I was the senior pastor, I wanted to help faithful church members in financial need. So, several times I lent church money to those people. Most of them returned the money, but a few did not. What do you think the church should do in those situations?
