Devotion 1 of 2: Deut 29
V.29 is significant: “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” God’s secrets are His hidden plans that He wants to reveal. Several examples are plans of Messiah, the cross and restoration of Israel and the church.
God keeps secrets, but in time, He reveals them. But the Jews didn’t understand and rejected Jesus. However, the disciples understood and accepted Him! Let’s help others to understand God’s secret of restoring the church!

29節はとても重要です。「隠されていることは、私たちの神、主のものである。しかし、現されたことは、永遠に、私たちと子孫のものであり、私たちがこの御教えのすべてのことばを行うためである。」神の隠されていることとは、神が現されたいと願っている奥義や計画である。その例として、メシア、十字架、そしてイスラエルと教会の回復についてのご計画がある。
神は秘密を保つが、時が来るとそれを明らかにする。しかし、ユダヤ人たちはそれを理解せず、イエスを拒んだ。一方で、弟子たちはイエスを理解し、受け入れた。私たちも、教会を回復するという神の計画を人々が理解できるよう助けよう。
Devotion 2 of 2: Deut 30
V.1-6 is a prophecy of Israel falling away from God, being taken captive, then being gathered from the nations and restored to their land again! This happened to Israel during their Babylonian Captivity! And that story was a parable of how God was going to restore Israel and the church in the last days!
This is an example of what Deut 29:29 is talking about! God has secrets, which He reveals! But often, we don’t understand, therefore we don’t obey His Word! Let’s understand and obey God concerning His plan to restore the church in the LD!
