Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 43
This psalm has a powerful message for believers who face deceitful and unjust enemies, like proud bosses or the endtime AC (v.1). We may even feel that God has cast us off as we mourn at the oppression of our enemy (v.2).
But let us never forget to go the God’s tabernacle and cry out at His altar (v.3-4)! As v.5 says, let’s command ourselves to not be cast down, but to hope in God and offer the sacrifice of praise! He will surely deliver us from evil!

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 11
V.2-16 teach about head coverings, which is practiced by women in some churches in conservative countries because of v.6, “If a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.” I saw this in Mexico and Israel where many Orthodox believers come on pilgrimages.
Once I was asked by a Mexican believer why Japanese churches didn’t observe this tradition. My answer was v.15, “If a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering.” God has freed us from the Law!
