Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 27
This is a wonderful psalm of David’s devotion to God (v.1, 4, 8) and God protecting him from his enemies (v.2-3, 5-6).
But sometimes our enemies come from within our own family (v.10)! In David’s case, his oldest brother Eliab, became his enemy because of anger for Samuel anointing David as the next king instead of him (1 Sam 16). His anger manifested by belittling David when David came to the battlefield and saw Goliath (1 Sam 17:28).
Luke 21:16 says even our family will betray us when AC persecutes us, but let’s believe in God’s protection!
6/3（水）詩27篇（デボーション1）
これは、ダビデの神への献身（1、4、8節）と、神が彼に敵から守りを与えたこと（2-3、5-6節）を描いた素晴らしい詩篇です。
しかし、時には敵は身近な家族の中にも潜んでいることがあります（10節）。ダビデの場合、長兄エリアブは、サムエルが自分ではなくダビデを次の王に油注いだことに腹を立て、ダビデの敵となったのです（1サム16章）。エリアブの怒りは、ダビデが戦場に赴きゴリアテを見た時に、ダビデを侮辱することで表れました（1サム17:28）。

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 11
This chapter returns to the sovereignty of God concerning Israel. In the endtime, God will make Israel return to Him. He has ordained the following in world history: 2000 BC – 30 AD: Age of Israel as God’s chosen people, 30 AD – 2030?: Age of Gentiles accepted as God’s chosen people through faith, 2030? – 2033?: Age of Israel.
Note: No one knows the exact years with the question marks in the endtime. The following verses are evidence of God ordaining Israel’s restoration and salvation in the LD: v.5, 7, 12, 15, 23-24, 26-28!
