Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 4
V.2 says, “How long, O you sons of men, will you turn My glory to shame?” These words describe how mankind treats God. Man doesn’t really believe God is glorious and mighty, so he elevates science and knowledge instead.
Let’s not let Satan control the narrative! Let’s manifest God’s glory more through our words and actions so that God will not be made shameful in our nation, but He will be exalted and respected and glorified! Amen!

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 4
In v.12, Jesus explains why He always spoke in parables. It was so that people would not understand and their sins not be forgiven (I don’t like this last part!). One reason that it wasn’t good for people to understand was because if they could not understand, they could not stop God’s plan from coming to pass.
V.21-23 shows that God wants to reveal, not hide, like putting a lamp on a lampstand, not under a basket. But the key is to have ears to hear. I believe this means pure, sincere ears. Let’s seek to have pure hearts and ears!
