Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 3
This psalm was written by David when he was escaping from Absalom his son who wanted to kill him! This must have been certainly one of the most painful experiences of David’s life.
But in the midst of hopelessness and despair because of the many people who joined up with Absalom (v.1-2), David cried to the Lord and was heard (v.4). In our time of trial, let’s also never stop calling to the Lord to deliver us from our enemies!

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 3
We see the results of Jesus’ miracles in v.7-10. A great multitude followed Him from Galilee, Judea and other places because they heard about His healings, and they wanted to touch Him, probably because they, too, wanted to be healed. Let’s seek Jesus to become John 14:12 believers and lead multitudes to Christ, too!
But not all went smoothly. The Pharisees ignored the healing of a man’s withered hand and tried to destroy Jesus because He broke their religious Sabbath tradition (v.1-6)! Let’s do the works of Jesus and pray for enemies!
