Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 21
This chapter is about regulations for the conduct of priests. V.16-23 speak about defects in priests and also defects in people (v.17-20). These verses say that a priest with a defect should not approach people with defects.
Spiritual application: We are all called to be NT priests (1 Pet 2:9). As priests we minister to God and to people. People seek help if they have defects, or serious faults, sins, problems, etc. If we also have a defect, we cannot minister to people in a beneficial way. We will only cause more problems. Let’s seek God to solve our defects, 1st!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 21
This chapter shows Paul traveling from Asia Minor to Jerusalem and the tumult that occurred when he went to the temple! Before Jerusalem, at Caesarea, a prophet Agabus, prophesied that Paul would be bound and delivered to the Gentiles in Jerusalem (v.10-11). His friends urged him not to go, but Paul said he had to (v.12-13)!
Once more, Paul was not afraid to die because he had already died once and knew it was a tremendous and glorious experience, so he was not afraid! Let’s study biblical NDE stories and gain Paul’s kind of faith!

この章では、パウロが小アジアからエルサレムへ旅する様子と、彼が神殿に行った際に起こった騒動が描かれています。エルサレムに着く前、カイサリアで、預言者アガボは、パウロがエルサレムで縛られて、異邦人に引き渡されるだろうと預言しました（10-11節）。友人たちは行かないようにと懇願しましたが、パウロは行かなければならないと宣言しました（12-13節）。
パウロは、一度死を経験し、それが素晴らしく栄光に満ちた経験であることを知っていたので、死を恐れませんでした。聖書の基準に合った臨死体験談を学び、私たちもパウロのような信仰を身につけましょう。
