Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 19
V.5-6 summarize what God was trying to accomplish during the 2000 years of the Age of Israel and the Law. He was trying to make Israel an example to the world of His kingdom on earth! He designed Israel to be His special treasure, pure and righteous with all its citizens living as priests in fellowship with Him!
This plan was fulfilled during Israel’s Golden Age under David and Solomon, but it didn’t last! Israel couldn’t resist worshipping the idols of the pagan nations, and was decayed and destroyed! So, God changed His plan from Israel to the church! Let’s succeed through the LDR to show God’s glory to the world!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 20
This chapter describes God giving the 10 Commandments to Moses and Israel. The Commandments can be divided into 2: The 1st 4 are about our relationship to God and the last 6 about our relationship with man. This is why Jesus could say all the Law hangs on 2 commandments: Love God and love man (Matt 22:37-40).
Rom 13:10 further summarized the whole Law into just one word by saying, “Love is the fulfillment of the law.” Let’s make love the goal of our life! Loving God and loving man!

この章では、神がモーセとイスラエルに十戒を与えたことを述べています。十戒は大きく二つに分けられます。最初の四つは神との関係について、最後の六つは人との関係についてです。だからこそ、イエスは律法全体が「神を愛し、人を愛する」という二つの戒めに集約されると言ったのです（マタイ22:37-40）。
ローマ13:10は、律法全体を「愛は律法を全うします」といって、一言葉に集約しています。愛を人生の目標にしましょう！神を愛し、人を愛しましょう！
