Devotion 1 of 2: Job 26
After Bildad criticized Job in chapter 25, Job criticized him back in v.1-4. After that, Job speaks of God’s wonders in v.5-14. There are a couple of surprisingly scientific declarations here.
V.7b: “He hangs the earth on nothing.” It’s true, the earth is hanging in space on nothing! How did Job know?
V.10: “He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters.” Yes, horizon looks straight, but it’s really circular!
V.7a: “He stretches out the north over empty space.” This is my opinion, but I believe heaven is north of earth.
God gave Job some wonderful revelations of His creation! PTL!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 22
In Luke 21:12-15, Jesus said when they bring you before kings, don’t worry about what to say, for I will give you wisdom which your enemies will not be able to contradict! Jesus demonstrated this wisdom in this chapter.
*Should we pay taxes (v.17-22)? Jesus showed denarius and said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s! *If woman married 7 brothers, in resurrection, whose wife will she be (v.23-33)? Jesus’ answer: No marriages in heaven; you’ll be like angels! *Which is greatest commandment (v.34-40)? Love God and man. Let’s walk with Jesus so we can have this kind of wisdom, too!
