Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 21
In this chapter the promised son Isaac is finally born (v.2), 25 years after God promised him, and when Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 years old! This shows that God does what He promises He will do!
Endtime application: Just as God promised Abraham a son, and promised him a land, He has promised to restore His people into a world revival church (Acts 15:16-17) and has promised those who believe would do even greater works than Jesus did (John 14:12). As God did to Abraham, let’s believe He’ll fulfill His promise to us, too!

この章では、約束の子イサクがついに誕生します（2節）。神が約束してから25年後、アブラハムが100歳、サラが90歳の時です！これは、神が約束されたことを必ず実行してくださることを示しています！

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 22
This chapter contains the famous story of Abraham being willing to sacrifice his son Isaac in obedience to God. This story is a picture of Father God sacrificing His Son Jesus for the salvation of humanity.
I want to focus on v.14b, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” The mount was Mt. Moriah (v.2). It took Abraham 3 days to get there (death to self) (v.4). It was where Abraham was willing to sacrifice his dearest treasure, his son, in obedience to God. When we live that kind of life, God will provide all our needs, too!

この章には、アブラハムが神への従順さゆえに息子イサクを犠牲にすることをいとわなかったという有名な物語が記されています。この物語は、父なる神が人類の救いのために御子イエスを犠牲にされたことを描いています。
私は14b節の「主の山の上には備えがある」という箇所に焦点を当てたいと思います。アブラハムはそこにたどり着くまで3日かかりました(自我の死)（4節）。また、そこで、神への従順さゆえに、最愛の宝である息子を犠牲にすることをいとわなかったのです。そのような生き方をするなら、神は私たちにも必要なものをすべて備えてくださるでしょう。
