Devotion 1 of 2: Song 1
This book is a story of a love triangle among a Shulamite woman, King Solomon and a shepherd man whom the Shulamite loves! The characters each talk in this story, so knowing who is speaking which verses is crucial to understanding this book!
Let’s look at just the 1st chapter and the characters who appear and in which verses they are speaking.

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Cor 13
V.1 says, “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” This verse states a very important principle in the Bible. If something is mentioned 2 or 3 times, it is true and also, usually it means it’s something important. Let’s look at a couple of examples of this in Scripture.
*Gen 37:5-10 Joseph saw similar dreams showing him as a ruler 2 times, confirming the dreams were true.
*Gen 41:32 Pharaoh twice saw dreams of abundance and famine, indicating they would surely happen.
*Acts 2, 10, 19 Believers were filled with HS and spoke in tongues 3X, showing tongues is evidence of HS baptism.
*Ex-Josh, Ex 28, Lev 23 Israel’s journey, Moses’ Tabernacle and Israel’s Feasts are 3 parables that show the 3 stages of church restoration is God’s plan.
