Devotion 1 of 2: Eccl 3
In v.21, Solomon writes: “Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?” He is saying that the spirit of man goes upward, which, of course, means heaven, where God is. I believe this statement is true.
We know man is made of spirit, soul (mind) and body (1 Thes 5:23). We know a lot about our bodies, and some about our souls/minds, which is a little harder because it can’t be seen or X-rayed or examined under a microscope. But still, we have gained much knowledge about our mind over the past 100 years.
However, the spirit is unknown. It is invisible, and science does not recognize it exists, so it is a mystery. I believe God gave it to Adam (man) to make him (us) live (Gen 2:7), and when we die it goes back to God (Eccl 12:7). Let’s learn more about our spirit!

21節でソロモンはこう書いています。「だれが知っているだろうか。人の子らの霊は上に上り、獣の霊は地の下に降りて行くのを。」 彼は人の霊が上に上がると言っているのです。もちろん、それは神がおられる天を意味します。私はこの言葉が真実だと信じています。
私たちは、人間が霊、魂（精神）、そして体でできていることを知っています（1テサ5:23）。私たちは体について多くのことを知っています。そして、魂／精神については少し知っています。魂／精神は目で見たり、X線で撮ったり、顕微鏡で調べたりできないので、少し難しいです。それでも、過去100年間で精神について多くの知識を得てきました。
しかし、霊は未知です。目に見えず、科学もその存在を認めていないため、神秘です。私は、神がアダム（人間）に霊を与えて、彼（私たち）を生きさせ（創2:7）、私たちが死ぬと、霊は神のもとに帰ると信じています（伝12:7）。私たちの霊についてもっと学びましょう！
Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Cor 3
V.14-18 contain a very important message. I will paraphrase it here: The Jews are spiritually blind because the OT is covered by a veil which only Christ can remove. But if the Jews turn to Jesus, the veil is taken away, and they will understand and be saved.
(Paraphrase continues) In the same way, if the church obeys and is liberated by the Spirit, the veil will also be removed from our faces, and we will see the glory of the Lord in the Word and be transformed into the same glorious image by the Spirit.
I believe these verses explain the Day of Atonement revival that will happen along with the Feast of Tabernacles revival at the beginning of the tribulation. Let’s pray for more revelation about these feasts so we can fulfill God’s calling upon us as the LDC!

14-18節には非常に重要なメッセージがあります。ここで要約します。「ユダヤ人は霊的に盲目です。なぜなら、旧約聖書はキリストだけが取り除くことのできるベールで覆われているからです。しかし、ユダヤ人がイエスに立ち返るなら、そのベールは取り除かれ、彼らは理解し、救われます。」
（要約続き）「同じように、教会が聖霊に従い、解放されるなら、私たちの顔からもベールが取り除かれ、私たちは御言葉の中にある主の栄光を見て、聖霊によって同じ栄光の姿に変えられるのです。」
これらの聖句は、患難時代の始まりに仮庵の祭りのリバイバルと共に起こる贖罪の日のリバイバルを説明していると信じます。終末教会として、神の召しを果たすことができるよう、これらの祭りについてさらなる啓示が与えられるように祈りましょう。
