Devotion 1 of 2: Ezra 5
The enemies of the Jews stopped the rebuilding of the temple in 4:24. This lasted for about 16 years, until the prophets Haggai and Zechariah stirred up the Jews, and they restarted their temple rebuilding (v.1-2). The prophet’s ministry is to stir up the people of God to do God’s work!
But Tattenai the governor of that region asked the Jews upon whose command they were working (v.3). To verify their answer that it was King Cyrus, he wrote a letter to King Darius, asking for confirmation (v.6-17).
Endtime application: This point is important because we are working to restore the church. But is it God’s will? Is it in the Word? We need to have this conviction to overcome any opposition that we may face. So, let’s study the Scriptures until that we have confidence that the restoration of the church is God’s plan for the endtime!

4:24で、ユダヤ人の敵は神殿の再建を阻止しました。これは約16年間続きましたが、預言者ハガイとゼカリヤがユダヤ人を鼓舞し、彼らは神殿の再建を再開しました（1-2節）。預言者の務めは、神の民を鼓舞して神の御業を行わせることです。
しかし、その地方の総督タテナイは、ユダヤ人たちに、誰の命令で働いているのか尋ねました（3節）。クロス王であるという彼らの答えを確かめるため、彼はダリウス王に手紙を書き、確認を求めました（6-17節）。
終末への適用： この点は重要です。なぜなら、私たちは教会の回復に取り組んでいるからです。しかし、これは神の御心でしょうか？御言葉に記されているでしょうか？どんな反対に直面しても、それを克服するためには、この確信を持つ必要があります。ですから、教会の回復が終末における神の計画であると確信するまで、聖書を学び続けましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: Ezra 6
This chapter is one of victory and celebration. King Darius replied to Tattenai’s question in 5:6-17 by checking the records and confirming that King Cyprus had decreed that the Jews can return to Judah and rebuild their temple (v.1-5)!
Therefore, Darius declared that the Jews be allowed to restore their temple and even be funded by the taxes that Persia was getting from that region (v.6-10)!
Endtime application: The Bible confirms that the LDC (Last Day Church) is God’s will, and He will supply the resources necessary for its fulfillment! Like the Jews in v.14-18, let’s work together for fulfilling God’s endtime plan to restore His church and bring about the greatest revival in history!

この章は勝利とお祝いの章です。ダリウス王は5:6-17のタテナイの問いに対し、記録を調べ、キプロス王がユダヤ人がユダに戻って神殿を再建することを命じたことを確認しました（1-5節）。
それゆえ、ダリウス王はユダヤ人が神殿を再建することを許可し、ペルシャがその地域から受けていた税金から資金を得ることさえも宣言しました（6-10節）。
終末への適用：聖書は、栄光の終末教会が神の御心であり、神がその実現に必要な資源を与えてくださることを確認しています。14-18節のユダヤ人たちのように、神の教会を回復し、歴史上最大のリバイバルをもたらすという神の終末の計画を成就するために共に働きましょう。
