Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 38
Chapters 38 and 39 describe the Battle of Armageddon at the end of this world age. This battle is also described in Zechariah 12-14 and Rev 16:12 to 19:21.
In Ezekiel, Israel is attacked by Gog, king of Magog, Rosh, Meshech and Tubal (v.2), along with Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer and Togarmah (v.5-6). In Zech 12:3 and 14:2, Israel’s enemies are all nations of the earth. And in Rev 19:19-20, the enemies are described as the beast (AC), the false prophet and their alliance of nations.
One interesting revelation revealed in Ezek 38:5-6 is that Israel is attacked from the north (Gomer, etc.), east (Persia), south (Ethiopia) and west (Libya)! But in all 3 Scriptures, God saves Israel by defeating her enemies! Let’s pray for Israel’s salvation!

38章と39章は、この世の終わりに起こるハルマゲドンの戦いについて述べています。この戦いは、ゼカリヤ書12-14章、黙示録16:12から19:21にも記されています。
エゼキエル書では、イスラエルはメシェクとトバルの大首長であり、マゴグの王であるゴグ（2節）、そしてペルシャ、クシュ（エチオピア）、プテ（リビア）、ゴルメ、ベテ・トガルマ（5-6節）によって攻撃されます。ゼカ12:3と14:2では、イスラエルの敵はすべての国々です。そして黙19:19-20では、敵は反キ、偽預言者、そして同盟諸国として描写されています。
エゼキ38:5-6で明らかにされた興味深い啓示の一つは、イスラエルが北（ベテ・トガルマ）、東（ペルシャ）、南（エチオピア）、そして西（リビア）から攻撃されるということです。しかし、聖書の3つの箇所すべてにおいて、神は敵を打ち負かしてイスラエルを解放します！イスラエルの救いのために祈りましょう！
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 10
One of the most important verses in the Bible for interpreting OT Scripture is v.11: “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” This verse shows that the OT was written to reveal God’s endtime plan to the last day church!
When we approach the OT that way, we gain a wealth of parables and teachings from Genesis to Malachi that bring to light the amazing plan of restoration that God has designed for Israel and the church! And the richest teaching parable is Israel’s journey from Egypt through the wilderness to the Promised Land (v.1-5).
We are living in the greatest era of world history! Let’s study the Bible to understand our time! Let’s ask God to open up His truths concerning the endtime revival and endtime revival church to us!

旧約聖書を解釈する上で最も重要な聖句の一つは11節です。「これらのことが彼らに起こったのは、戒めのためであり、それが書かれたのは、世の終わりに臨んでいる私たちへの教訓とするためです。」 この節は、旧約聖書が終末の教会に神の終わりの計画を明らかにするために書かれたことを示しています。
このように旧約聖書に近づくと、創世記からマラキ書に至るまで、神がイスラエルと教会のために立てられた驚くべき回復計画を明らかにする、豊かなたとえ話と教えが得られます。そして、最も豊かな教えのたとえ話は、イスラエルがエジプトから荒野を抜けて約束の地へと旅したことです（1-5節）。
わたしたちは今世界史上最も偉大な時代に生きています。この時代を理解するために聖書を学びましょう。終末のリバイバルと終末の栄光の教会に関する真理を私たちに明らかにしてくださるよう、神に祈り求めましょう。
