Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 28
This chapter contains the famous prophecy against the king of Tyre in v.11-19 that is interpreted as being spoken to Lucifer because of v.13, saying that he was in Eden, the garden of God. Only Adam, Eve and Satan in the form of a serpent were in Eden, so this Scripture has been looked at that way.
V.12 reveals the great beauty of Lucifer, Satan’s name before he fell. He was the greatest of God’s creations before man was created. He was covered with 9 precious stones (v.13). They are the same as 9 of the 12 stones in the breastplate of the High Priest (Ex 28:17-20).
The significance of the 3 stones that weren’t given to Lucifer is a topic of much debate. I believe they represent the bride of Christ, a position which was not given to Lucifer, although he craved it—It was given to the church!

この章の11-19節に、ツロの王に対する有名な預言が記されています。13節は神の園であるエデンにいた者に述べられているため、ルシファー（サタン）に語られたと解釈されています。エデンにはアダム、エバ、そして蛇の姿をしたサタンしかいなかったため、この御言葉はサタンに語られたと解釈されています。
12節は、ルシファー（堕落する前のサタンの名）の偉大な美しさを明らかにしています。人間が創造される以前、ルシファーは神の創造物の中で最も偉大な存在でした。ルシファーは9つの宝石で覆われていました（13節）。これらは、大祭司の胸当てにある12個の宝石のうちの9個と同じです（出28:17-20）。

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 28
This chapter describes Jesus’ resurrection and ends with the Great Commission. Jesus’ last command was to go and make disciples of all nations (v.19). The church has tried to fulfill this calling for 2000 years. While much progress has been made, there is still much ground to cover.
Global Scripture Access says there are 7,396 languages in the world. 756 have the whole Bible translated. 1,726 have the NT. 1,274 have portions of the Bible. 2,509 need Bible translations and 1,131 do not need translations because the people understand other languages.
Let’s believe that the LDC will complete world missions to people from every language as Rev 7:9-14 prophesies! And let’s pray that 2,509 languages will get a Bible translation!

グローバル・スクリプチャー・アクセスによると、世界には7,396の言語があります。そのうち756言語は聖書全巻が翻訳されています。1,726言語は新約聖書が、1,274言語は聖書の一部が翻訳されています。2,509言語は聖書翻訳を必要としており、1,131言 語は人々が他の言語を理解しているため翻訳の必要がありません。
黙7:9-14が預言しているように、終末教会があらゆる言語の人々への世界宣教を成し遂げることを信じましょう！そして、残りの2,509言語に聖書が翻訳されるように祈りましょう！
